BEARINATOR 2,867 Posted January 21, 2009 Report Share Posted January 21, 2009 Hello mate and welcome to the site, you won't go far wrong with a working collie into a greyhound bitch, as collies have good feet and coats on them and there brain is unbeliveable, although first crosses can be a bit too heavy. sandymere 8,263 Posted January 21, 2009 Report Share Posted January 21, 2009 For a general purpose dog i'd go with a collie/greyhound put over your bitch rather than pure collie as I pref the extra pace this brings but at the end of the day the reason there are so many different crosses out there is because different dogs suit different people and their hunting.
