I set 150 rabbit pegged snares yesterday where theres loads of rabbits.Took a mate down this morning to check them and found that somebody else had already done that for us :realmad: The cheaky b*****ds had taken rabbits out of the snares and gutted them a few yards away :realmad: :realmad: .We found a pair of expensive glasses right next to a snare where they/he had taken a rabbit out of . At least they didnt nick me wires and we did get a few

Still a result. pity about the missing rabbits. get them glasses on Ebay to make up your losses.

you should put a snare out where they took the rabbit out of make sure you geta rabbit and wait for them with an air rifle that would be a great laf

I once set 200 pegged snares and found the lot gone the next morning :realmad: :realmad:

I set 50 down the estate and passed a guy with a spanniel early the next morning on my way to check em.When i got there he had pulled all my wires up (rabbits and all) and threw them up some large Hawthorne trees(some of the rabbits had dog slaver on them) :realmad: :realmad: ....I found out who he was and where he lived Hes still wondering who and why its happening :whistle:

I bet ive lost many hundreds of pounds worth of gear out of snares over the years

So ime used to people interfearing with my gear..............

P&G, watched you setting snares with the other lad, didn't know it was you, sorry about taking your rabbits, but you've got my glasses. Which are far more valuable than the dozen rabbits i took.

could you mail my glasses back to me, your to big a lad to be arguing with. I didn't touch your snares, i only wanted some rabbits for the dinner. Took the rabbits at grey dark, very sorry for what happened won't touch your snares again....i thought they were moleys, sorry bud it won't happen again.

So ime used to people interfearing with my gear

Same thing happens over here. People just can't leave things alone. I've been lucky. Lost several traps in the last few years. mostly from people out with dogs and get peaved when fido gets a paw in a coyote trap.
