Im a total novice and all advice good or bad is welcome. I bought my pup last weekend and ive started the house training. Her Father was a racing whippet and her mother was a first cross Bedlington x Whippet greyhound her father was 21" and her mother 22" how tall do you think shell make and what sort of coat do you think (if you can tell by the picture some of you experts Quote Link to post

I think it may grow more but he reckons it wont I want her for a bit of daytime fun rabbits Quote Link to post

LunarJim 0 Posted January 20, 2009 Author Report Share Posted January 20, 2009 She 1/4 Bedlington 1/8 Greyhound and the rest Whippet Ive done my maths.Her Father was a racing whippet and her mother was a first cross Bedlington x Whippet greyhound her father was 21" and her mother 22" how tall do you think shell make and what sort of coat do you think (if you can tell by the picture some of you experts well shes smooth atm but it can all change really fast when they grow a bit, no way of knowing is there, though i have heard that if they have whiskers they will be rough or broken coated...doesnt matter as long as its a good quality coat. probs be around the same size as the parents since they arent too different in size. my advice is to have fun with her and dont start her too early, be patient, you can ruin a good dog by starting it too early despite what people on here might say. safest bet is a year, but you could go for about ten months if the growth plates arent still showing much. :welcomeani: Whats growth plates??
