lamping batteries

Recommended Posts

Just looking around on the internet for a new battery for lamping with the rifle. I need one with a good long lasting charge, im using a lightforce striker lamp with it. There seems to be tonnes to choose from, has anyone got any recommendations? I've found a lithium ion battery on a site, anyone use one and how good are they? cheers

this might be a very stupid question, but has anyone ever used a power tool type battery? i had i makita torch once, 12v and great for lamping with a good beam. the batteries are light and if you had 2 of them you could change them over. wouldn't take much to build something quite useable.

opinions?

Phil

These are light but I here they have problems with the damp (not a clue personally) but the price is ... :censored:

What's the verdict??

I bought one on impulse the other day, so far so good, only been out once with it, but it's a joy to go lamping without all that weight on your back!

Just noticed on the Deben site, they've gone up another £10 to £149!!!! That takes the piss, will be taking mine apart to see if I can make some ...............

Not heard about damp problems, but will report back if any issues with it.

Thats the problem SS, the prices of all equipment are going up, its unreal people have less money and everythings rising.. Most of the beretta guns are going up 20% soon... everythings on the up, I was looking at a 20 bore beretta other day at a shop, give it a week and its price will have jumped up another £300... supposedly increased manufacturing costs and weaker pound against euro/dollar..
