Wor lass got me a shooting times last week as i want some new gear and she thought adds in it might help any how read an article aboot durgs and beating this fella was saying how big commercial shoots their are no dogs in the beating line incase they spoil the drives and the keeper don't make the bag Eh! he calls both dogs and owners and prases some noow ti top it all off he ends up by writing and i qoute mine never run-in never peg birds and never upset the keeper. Both are gun-shy and stay at home while i enjoy myself beating un quote. CHEEKY BUGGER : .Now my dogs ar'nt the best and never will be and thats down to me but i've got a thin skin when it comes down to anybody having a go at me durgs when we work hard to flush birds and that includes me on hands and knees following the spanials just so i can stop them if i have to Don't like criticism from dog men but i accept it but from a dogless beater thats hard to take. I wunder what type of beater he is does he follow the fence line or hangs back when theirs a hillside or bramble bottom wood to take in .
