Hi Karl

Had a similar problem with this pup gave him to my grandson at twelve weeks showing some real good signs, however cut a long story short he came back to me at five months no recall Just wanted to go and play with the other dogs or sheep.

What I did everyone has their own methods but this worked a treat for me,

Put the dog on a long recoiling lead take him out for a walk try to limit the distactions early morning fresh field allow him out on the line recall if he dont come to your first call pull him into you titbit when he is under your feet.Do not put any food in his kennel he gets fed by your feet after training,I feed minced raw flesh or cooked chicken to my pups keep repeating this until without lead pup will come and sit by your feet on two commands come and sit.It took me a week of daily training thirty minutes, when I feel he is good enough he will then go on to stock.

I can call this pup now from playing with the six other dogs middle of a field he will come straight to me and sit at my feet .
