yet another muppet jumping to conclusions

1) im too busy running dogs in winter

2)the land is always being lamped in winter, every windynight there is someone on it.

so do you think everyone who hunts in the summer is a muppet, im sure that woodga and p&g snare thruout the summer, do you think they are muppets aswell? or are you just a keyoard hunter?

I must admit it crossed my mind some of the abuse certain members of the site got but others killing at the same time of year had nothing said to them atall because they were in the " in " crowd . Hypocrisy is part of the reason we carnt hunt with dogs in the uk i never thought it would be so rife on a hunting site .

There is a difference between pest control and being a fair weather hunter. If anyone however famous kills in summer and calls it sport they are pricks simple as that.If you want sport in summer go fishing.

As for hypocrasy chilli I remember you starting a thread about respect for quarry.

Yes in summer Ime a keyboard hunter  whats wrong with that.

If the farmer wants the rabbits controlled then go for them all year round, unless your such a good hunter that you have exterminated them all in the winter lol

Any hunter worthy of the name should be able to(with a little imagination)get the rabbit control well sorted in the winter months.

dont be so bloody stupid. Even if there is 10 rabbits left in winter, that soon turns to 20, then 40, then 80, etc.....

Rabbits are a pest and need controlling year round, by various methods. snaring, trapping, shooting, longnetting & even ferreting.

In a way, Woodga and PegandGun, are famous, around the message boards, and im sure they well known in person for there amazing snaring skills.

Are you calling them pricks? cos im telling you now, they ain't. They are both top men.

Just because you have 827 posts next to your name, it dosent make you an expert.

Any methods of rabbit control weather its summer or winter, it is both Pest Control & Sport.

Pest control - explains itself

Sport - If we didnt enjoy doing it, we simply wouldnt do it

For example, i have a couple of gardens that need clearing of rabbits. In the winter i ferret it, that to me is sport, and to the owners its pest control.

In summer i trap it, to them its pest control, to me, well i enjoy doing it, so it's sport

Jump down from that horse

A farmer has just been showing me where he wants me to go Longnetting or Shooting and feck me, another farmer pulls up in the gateway wanting some of his land done. Both complaining they've had winter Ferreters in  Roll on late August, I'm gonna need some help.

Never mentioned it might be ethical waiting for the season to start, not even in jest ;)

Regards Rob
