panda 0
Anyone know roughly how much a vet would charge for an X Ray on a back leg? I know every vet will be different but phoned my usual vet and he quoted me £111 wich i though was a bit steep.

mattydski 560
Not in Dundee are you chap? I am constantly falling out with my vet over fee's and competence. They have these massive plush offices, big waiting room, two receptionists.ETC. All the gear and no idea. Wont touch ferrets...literally. But from afar charged me £55 for ear mites, when i told him the the problem was. Wrongly diagnosed kidney problems in my cat at 16years old, resulted in his death.. When my wife went back 3 times to different vets to tell them they were wrong...

activeviii 8
£38 for the two lots of jabs as well as a welcome pack, worming tablet and frontline flea treatment. so was happy about that but then phoned lastweek as puppy had runny bum and vomiting, all i got was that they where full but i could either wait until morning or come in as an emergency. i phoned another vet and was in straight away. i thing i will just register with all the vets in my area and then phone for the best advice and the cheapest then just go the that one.hehe

collie/grey 238
£200 for a toe xray and then treatment price on top. Had to take mine in out of hours the other week and it cost £90 BEFORE we were even seen. Costs £63 for puppy jabs and about £40 for boosters, this is one of the cheaper vets around my way!!!!! Spring 5
Our vet charges about £55 for an x-ray. Have been with her for years, knows loads about hounds and their problems/issues. Spring
