wildfowler4 0
Hi Gang, Has anyone used one of these battery operated mojo's. I think you can get them in either Mallard or Teal. I am over in th US this year and was considering purchasing some. One for me and another for a pal of mine.
tom1cameron 1
Hi Gang, Has anyone used one of these battery operated mojo's. I think you can get them in either Mallard or Teal. I am over in th US this year and was considering purchasing some. One for me and another for a pal of mine. I use the wind spinners and they do look like an attraction to distant duck but cant say that I have used o ne effectively yet. I like the idea of the floating ones for placing out in a raft of ducks at high tide, but again the wind spinner more effective there due to lack of power requirement. If in US, best to buy what is expensive over here. The air lucky is $20 in US while £40 here Diving duck decoys over there can cost the same as value Mallard here while expensive here. Make sure they have what you want in stock or order before you go and have them delivered to your hotel. Out of waterfowling season the big shops wont sell all their usual waterfowl stock as they sell it off in a post season sale. Decent waders are also slightly cheaper, own brands about the same. Best buy, 12 BassPro (RedHead gear) solid keel teal for $20. T
wildfowler4 0
Thanks for the information Tom. I will be visiting a Basspro shop. They do look like quite impressive and have a vast range. I was also thinking of getting some of the redhead clothing for the marsh. I will have a closer look when I go there. tom1cameron 1
My wife laughed her head off when we arrived at the BassPro at Toronto, she said I looked like a kid being introduced to Chocolate for the first time! You can buy a 14' duck boat...off the shelf...literally!!!!
