Jim Grant 4
Any chance of a pic of a springer set and ready. What is it, a willow whip and two pegs notched in some way? What weight of wire? How do you deter non-target species? Edited January 19, 2009 by Jim Grant Quote Link to post

snareman 3
Any chance of a pic of a springer set and ready. What is it, a willow whip and two pegs notched in some way? What weight of wire? How do you deter non-target species? they are hazel whips , cut 4 ft. in length and pointed at one end , look at the top of page one and see how to set them , you will see under gs waters. heading, how to snare rats and rabbits, from the drawings that i have put up, there is also good clear pictures that peg and gun put up , showing the sets in good clear detail. ash, siver birch, and holly and a few more types of whips also make good benders for spring snaring rats .
