wink hound 0
I have a number of dogs out working and have no intention of divulging any of their whereabouts to put them at risk. My kennels are surrounded by alarms, cameras and are padlocked and secured with someone living full time on site as an extra precaution. I have spent th e last 11 years developing my lines and certainly will say nothing which may put them at risk either at home or wherever they may be, sorry mate, nothing to prove either by pm or a forum. If you dont like plummers fine, I do - end of. You know some of the people who have my dogs , ask them they do enough shouting, i dont have the need nor the desire. im not asking you to put your dogs at risk. if people cant work out you have dogs or that hunt terriermen have dogs without you telling them, then there not going to nick them!! what im asking is, if you are saying your dogs has been in hunt service as part of its cv then you should also be prepared to say where its been... then people can make their own decisions. as you will know some countires are easy to work than others and some teriermen get more work than others. you are not putting the dog at risk atall... just backing up your comments with facts. if anyone was intrested in the dog and they knew of the person that worked him then there would be no problen in then enquiring about him... straight from the horses mouth as it were, if not, it should not be advertised as being in "hunt service" Quote Link to post

Waz 4,274
It strange how people always want you to flex your muscles, i'm harder bigger faster than you , attitude. You are not interested in plummers , have no intention of ever being, so just what have i to prove to you or any one else, its just not going to happen. If you are interested then come up and come out with us, otherwise shut up. as I thought. Quote Link to post

wilko 1
im sure thier are plummers out thier that make good workers . but the opioion of most .me for one is that they are few an far between . an for that reason they will always get over looked. when looking for a good all round terrier. im sure the real plummer boys no only two well of the working capabilities of these dogs and they cant all be bad. in digging terms you dont here of many boys using them. WHY. patterdales russells lakey,s and the variouse crosses seem to be the way forward. and so they should be tryed tested. BUT i bet thier are plummers out thier with them same qualitys its just findin em or nowing someone with em ..... Quote Link to post
Guest SJM
I have no idea what your going on about a hotel site? Ive never met you in my life before, but if your offering a day out digging then I would be happy to take you up on the offer, it would be interesting to see a Plummer working to ground compared with the patterdales, russells and border I have seen I have not dug to any of my terriers, they are just rabbiting/ratting dogs and I dont kid myself or anyone else on that they are anything more than that, but if your offering me the chance to bring one along and give it a go, I would be interested in doing that as well, thanks very much for the kind offer I will ring you in the morning, cheers Quote Link to post

Im looking forward to going through and meeting the dogs, thanks once again Quote Link to post

Wasnt 'Coleville' billy killed by smoke inhallation whilst out ratting, jo wooley didnt bred the dog anyway, didnt he get it because it was a chicken killer? Jamie if you are referring to who I think you are, I'm sure somewhere deep in the background you might find traces still Quote Link to post
