We found with our breeding that the earlier generations prior to adding the vandals lines were far more biddable, the likes of old mask, whos sire was one of the original new blooded dogs and Des also are far more laid back. the vandal lines brought in fiery working lines which take a bit more handling, but its down to hard training which some people are reluctant to do - especialy with a small puppy, they tend to forget they grow up and what they let them get away with turn them into an unruly monster they have little control over. Plummers are 2 yrs old before they mature- in the head anyway, so rushing them achieves nothing and letting them get away with things even less.

We will be using old mask this year over a couple of bitches as we need to keep his blood, he did 3 yrs in hunt service and proved a good dog, he also came second in the gun dog scurry at the welsh (he led for quite a time) and won a couple of shows, so its lines we cant afford to die out.

which hunt did he serve with?

cant believe you even bothered reacting to that.

I know , it should have been ignored, but sometimes you get real genuine people interested in the dogs who ask valid questions then you get other idiots dragging the topic down, each claim they either are or know better, and each with little or no experience, they like to judge people on their own very low standards. Thats the dog world i expect.

Trust you two, claptrap and filth, to lower the tone and take it to gutter level. If you have nothing constructive to say , and arent interested then just zip it laddies.

I have a number of dogs out working and have no intention of divulging any of their whereabouts to put them at risk. My kennels are surrounded by alarms, cameras and are padlocked and secured with someone living full time on site as an extra precaution. I have spent th e last 11 years developing my lines and certainly will say nothing which may put them at risk either at home or wherever they may be, sorry mate, nothing to prove either by pm or a forum. If you dont like plummers fine, I do - end of. You know some of the people who have my dogs , ask them they do enough shouting, i dont have the need nor the desire.

It strange how people always want you to flex your muscles, i'm harder bigger faster than you , attitude. You are not interested in plummers , have no intention of ever being, so just what have i to prove to you or any one else, its just not going to happen. If you are interested then come up and come out with us, otherwise shut up.
