Plummers are great little dogs, but its horses for courses, you either like or loathe them.

The Norfolk commercial kennels, breeding dogs for a commercial market will and has damaged the fragile gene pool , and set good people a bad example. I do believe the breeding of the cleft palate pup was Irlam rocky sired by irlam scamp out of a shatter marked bitch , wyremead jenner. this breeder was championed by wyremead kennels and his associates, if I am wrong I will stand corrected.

I dont think its as much hate each other its a power struggle for supremecy, instead of letting the dogs speak for them selves, its degenerated into many silly little gangs all with personal agendas, personally I can see no future until all this ends, which isnt going to happen overnight. Its a shame individuals think so highly of themselves at the cost of the dogs.

Oh so you want us to lie do you? tell everyone the breeds stable when it blatantly isnt or we wouldnt be finding out about puppies born with weak hearts, cleft palate, which although have been tried to be brushed under the carpet shouldnt have! The plummer as a devloping breed has to be beyond reproach and the only way to take the breed forward is to accept whats in there and not brush it under the carpet.

you are as guilty as anyone with your prima donna attitude and are guilty of widening the rift rather than try to build bridges.........and for refusing to acknowledge that you yourself have brought back in to a fragile breed a cancer gene.

Well done keeps, weak hearts and the cancer gene , great future for the breed in your hands - so dont come to me with the lame excuse the dog 'worked' , its long dead at an early age, because of cancer - it aint working now - pr??? you dont know the meaning of the word

Well done you lot - what great PR work :bye:

sorry mate, my plummers shit hot on anything and everything that moves, predominantly other dogs and sheep. cracking bushing dog,if you only want him to put his front two in. the only thing he really puts his heart into are low flying pheasents n crows. hes got a good nose, but no better than any other dog, theres obviously good plummers out there, but theres prob 10 shitters to every 1 good dog. is that enough pr work for ya mate, the only good thing i can say about him is hes good exersize for my lurcher pup.

Freedom of honest truthful speach,i was called a grass on the other site and couldn't respond.I have also recieved threats towards myself and death threats towards my dogs, nusance phone calls and all because i spoke out and told the truth which any decent breeder would have done in the first place if they were so into it for the breed. If the truth hurts some folks then so be it but how would you feel if you bred your dogs and threw a litter of cleft palated pups and a breeder before you knew there was a chance of this?,gutted thats how i'd feel for sure and this may happen to some pup owners in the future as they know nothing of this fault in their dogs.If breeders spout there in it for the breed then they would say,it's a developing breed with faults and any reponcible breeder wouldn't carry on using a dog or line that throws a fault such as this, the only argument against saying anything would be to lie so they can still shift pups.Banging pr work as far as it goes, may rattle a few cages but may also prevent a few cleft pups being born and thats more for the breed than to keep quiet and let it carry on.There's enough dogs to work with without the fault carriers being used,it may take us a step back with numbers but healthier dogs would be produced.

My pics of my plummer after she's been dug to is better pr work mind :icon_redface: .

The best P.R. work is as fireman says his post on his bitch bein dug too, the plummers ive seen all work rat 2nd to no dog, though the infightin between some owners on here does the breed no good at all and keeps you have been involved in that on here with 10/22 . im not blamin any indivduals just an opinion from someone who doesnt own a plummer but thinks this terrier has somethin to offer in the right hands as fireman has proved with his bitch.
