webby 31 Posted January 18, 2009 Report Share Posted January 18, 2009 as a general rule the best time is 3-4 days after she stops bleeding. this is usually right to go by if you are travelling to a stud dog as it is the best time for conception. i have heard of bitches taking up to 10 days after they stop bleeding. shaddow 166 Posted January 18, 2009 Report Share Posted January 18, 2009 At what point is it best to line the bitch how many days into her season ect....? cheers regards steve EVERY BITCH IS DIFFERENT ,ive had bitches stand and be lined on days 9 , and some on 11 and some on 15 and 16 you cud go to a vet and have a pre mate test done , they pretty accurate , and its worth it if your having to drive a fair way to have the bitch lined saves wasted journeys Quote Link to post
