Guest WILF
Some dogs eat and get fatter in front of you eyes but If I even suspected one of mine had bloat I'd be down the vets ASAP and not on here looking for advice JMHO.............. What puzzles me with these threads Si is this, if she knew it was or could possibly be bloat, then she must have known about the affects of the condition and how serious it was. I must admit, I have never heard of it.........but if the dog looked in a bad way its off to the old vet ASAP. Maybe she is just prowling the net looking for a new boyfriend, in which case I am afraid she will be sadly dissapointed on here as most of us a proud gay men Edited January 20, 2009 by WILF

JPTfellterrier 65
i thought of bloat as being like the stomach area being big i didnt relise it was actually a medical condition....the reason i decided to leave it til the morning to so if her condition had improved was because she was playing tug of war with the other terrier and so she didnt seem in any discomfort....i relised this after i posted this post im female, and i like hunting, so i must be looking for a boyfriend........okay then

JPTfellterrier 65
just to let you know i asked a vet about it yesterday and she said it was low risk of her stomach turning when bloated because of her being so small and because of her being a terrier.........so END OFF!!!!!
