trappa 518
I saw them quasar, they looked lovely, exactly like kfc i thought. My rabbit was boneless chunks, i marinaded them in soy sauce for an hour the rolled them in plain flour, then dipped in beaten egg and rolled in golden breadcrumbs. And fried for a while- i thought they were as good as anything bought in a shop-but im biased!
Quasar 1
I could so get used to seeing other peoples delicious cooking on here and learn. Ive browsed about 50 diffrent rabbit recipes from the net last night and WOW so many different dishes from different countries. That reminds me to give me mum a call and ask her how Grandad used to do Maltese Rabbit. ( yeah shes from malta ) Keep it up

Fidgety 8
Trappa, where is the recipe???
trappa 518
It dont need a recipe fidgety its that easy. Like the first post, get some chunks of rabbit meat, marinade in soy sauce or regggae reggae sauce for half an hour. Dip them in plain flour, then dip in beaten egg and roll in breadcrumbs ( i got some golden breadcrumbs from morisons) then shallow fry for a bit. My kids are demanding it for dinner again, they taste that good!!
dogs-n-natives 1,182
Thats spot on that, so easy, and deffinatly one im going to try this week. Thanks a lot trappa!!
bullmastiff 615
Did you use a deep fat fryer to cook it? and how do you know when it's cooked? (I want to try this!) Cheers Luke.
trappa 518
No mate i used a frying pan, but i guess there is no reason why you cant use a deep fat frier. I just fried for about 5 mins turning a few times. I just guessed when it was done, i suppose you could just take one out and cut it in half after 5 mins or so to see when its cooked.
