Not very long mate but it's dead easy! I'm like the dog whisperer only with cows....dosn't have to be a cow mind any live stock will do just sneak up on them when theyre lying down and slip a noose around its leg or tail ...skelp it on the arse with a jaggy branch and watch it go... the dog will never ever bother with livestock after that :) Trust me!

a will have to take your word for it becouse a would never stock break mine like that and if the old farmer sees that you wont have to worry about stock breaking the dog you will be picking the dog up with a hole in its head so if thats how you stock break your pups you should start takeing a spade to dig a hole to put the dog in to a think a few people would agree with me on this

how do you get the dog and rope back afterwards,im no expert dogman but that sounds ridiculous.

I tie a special knot in the rope that releases the rope from the cows leg after 5 minutes I've had the same bit of rope for over 30yrs now and it's never let me down :)

Have my methods offended you?....do you disagree with my technique? perhaps you would prefer me to go back to tying the dog to a tractor when its doing the grass cutting. I didn't find that way as productive as the cow one but I'm willing to go to the drawing board any constructive criticism is welcome.....what speed do you suggest is best to drag the dog around the field .....should the weather be wet or dry?

Undisputed your a scream, lol.Ive heard some silly tales in my lifetime but thats the best yet, :clapper: Video that for me would ye,lol.Theres no need to be doing anything dramatic to sort the dogs out with stock.Just get up off yer arse and when the dog is a wee pup walk it amongst the sheep etc and if it looks wrong at them give an unmerciful roar to get its attention, once this is done a few times(usually once or twice is more than adequit)the message gets through.Using whips etc is not needed. When force is needed thats a sign you left it much to late to be introducing a pup to farm animals.Regularity is the way forward. If yer dogs are not broken to stock then you havent done yer ground work and the rest of its working life is tainted because of it.If ye loose yer permission because of it,dont blame the dog chasing the stoc, blame yourself for letting it happen.

Damn and I was having so much fun with my own method :D guess I'll have to throw my rope away now   Sorry I cant send you any video footage as you might try and send it to animals do the funniest things for the £250.
