Guest whitser
good stuff scent. how do you find the spring x beagles. im thinking of putting my springer across one of my harriers. great workers whistler they never stop and by god when they are on a fox you will hear them a mile away. They seem have the same or even better nose ten the a full beagle and more obedience then the beagle ,you wont be waiting all day for them to come back will they hunt as long and far as a hound on the same fox? Is it a young pack you have or is there a few old dogs? all the best.. Quote Link to post

Thats the thing about the springers there mighty in the cover but to get one that opens is like gold dust.. imo you add the springer to the footbeagle to add the sound the springer lacks.. You should bred the dog two one of the 2 in the end of the second season that if there bitchs and come the end of next season they will be out beating cover.. hope it works out for you tm Quote Link to post
