Guest night time my time

different deer differnt parts of the country, on open flat land you need a dog with plenty of wind and pace in small feilds some places you could take em with a collie dog, like killing sheep,,

Surely it depends what species of deer your persueing. A dog capable of catching and holding a massive fallow buck may not be the best dog for catching a GOOD cwd which can run, turn and seems to have endless stamina. Have a look at what deer your going to be running and what type of land your running on then make a decision.
