Ratter 0
Turned out to be a b*****d of a day! i was moochin and next minute the russel dog is runnin arround with a hen in his mouth!... not good!!!!!, grabbed him before he killed it, took them to the back away .. and was in the woods and the russel dog dissappeared.. no sign of him for 40 mins, tryen to find the little git, i went into the brambles and ended up getten me hands sliced up lol.. heard a faint barking noise... spotted a hole with fresh dirt outside it and had a quick look, couldnt see the dog.. but got abit closer and i could hear him barking faintly.. got down and stuck my hand down the hole, nothing!.. was shouten him to come out!! 30 mins later, pissed off and sweatin like a monkey, i tryed again and stuck me arm down the hole, felt something and pulled it out, twas the dogs tail and the little b*****d had a rabbit in his mouth, i could have feckin killed him there and then, managed to get him out of the cover, tied them up and reached for my drink and it had fell out an been lost.. could it get any worse??????????????????????? took them for a walk arround in a different part.. the russel dog grabbed another two rabbits from the cover, number 4 bolted from cover came out and pup went after it haha but he was on his long rope and give him a yank and told him to leave .. he watched it dissapear across the field.. the russel was just playen up today, testing me!! after 3 1/2 hours id had enough by then. How do i keep the dog AWAY from rabbits fellas? its a pain in the arse.. sayin that though free food for me but id rather shoot them tbh. caught the farmer on the way out and the only good thing that came of the day was he said i can bring me rifles on and do abit of pest control, was chuffed, so wasnt all bad in the end.. haha oh yeah and 3 rabbits to put in a stew Quote Link to post

Attack Fell Terrier 864
I'd say try and stop him from attacking the chickens before the rabbits mate, the Farmer won't be happy to see his Chickens getting mullered by the dog. In saying that, best of luck next time and best of luck with training the dog mate. Quote Link to post
