Surely they are just having a go at people who hate children. I don't read any anti hunt or anti shooting thing going on there. Just a violent analogy which is presumably what they are after. Must agree with zig zag here,it is the only way Barnardo's can put into context and visually show with an impact the sentiments of some of the publics words,as stated in the advert later on,e.g. "shoot a few and if that doesn't work shoot a few more"...no good using cameras to shoot the yobs it wouldn't have the same effect,would it...the thing is though folks,you've all read your newspapers with stories of yobs kicking a man to death and the majority have commented on how they all need shooting/hanging/beaten up etc.Does anyone really think the BASC will do anything,i personally don't,i'd be surprised it if was even shown on national telly(maybe it has,what di know ) jsut my thoughts thanks for reading. ps wouldn't knock it too much,it maybe the only thing your allowed to hunt in the future Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I'm sure the dog lads would be upset if it was a bull breed... etc etc etc. When you look at the two biggest acts of violence, to see massive legal changes towards gun ownership in Britain, you'd understand why some people are a little pissed. Guns are a powerful and dangerous weapon, if you are going to kill someone then a gun is a good choice. If they used pea-shooters on the video it wouldn't convey the same message. I see that advert, by a children's charity of all things, as very offensive. I'm sure if they'd used a dog there would be a similar reaction from our resident canine experts.
