rat trapping

set some traps in and around a pheasant pen yesterday went to check them this morning here are some pics

the first one perfectley gaught

nice catch it has had its tailed chewed off it must have been sticking through the mesh

this one was coming out of the pen going to the wood which is 3ft away

this one was going in to the wood he is a big lad

the end result 8 rats

i also had to drop boxs open and accounted for 7 rabbits

Well done mate, what's the gizmo in one of the last pics, the bodygrip spring is round it so it must be part of your set-up.

thats exactly what they are john :) trev your hammering those rats now those 110,s really pack a punch i was fortunate enouh to accuire two dozen last night off mr moley for a late xmas present :D just about to start and make up some mesh tunnels and fit them with the banding straps as holders ;) keep up the good work pm me your home no and ill ring you as the dog ate the phone book with all home no,s and addresses in it :icon_redface:

Thanks Ian, perfect, I'll make something similar to set my new rabbit bodygrip. Yes just one, but I might have to buy more to circumvent the new snaring laws when they come in. It's all new to me. I must have led a sheltered life, ok I have led a sheltered life. Thanks for the info. cheers ian.

teejay, there is a meal for four in each of those big rats, reminds me of the big fellows i used to snare in the jungle for to eat , and theres you flinging them away , what a waste.

 

Snaremans right teejay it is a waste you should be posting them up to him for his supper :sick: :D they eat some funny things in scotland :icon_eek:

the same man that made me a pile , how are you getting on boy, big wullie was asking about you the other night , dougie the keeper was asking for you also, so was simon.

If i get away with this court case glenn ill be through to see all the boys take care old yen.....p&g......
