whippet08 8 Posted January 16, 2009 Report Share Posted January 16, 2009 hi all,would like to know how you guys transport your nets(keeping them tangle free),at the moment i have only 30 nets say,and when i go ferreting i have the nets in sets of 10, with small rope through top rings, and bottom rings, tied briefly,then put in bag,this seems too work,just wondering if this is how you do it?,any other ways? many thanks rich Quote Link to post

tony d 0 Posted January 17, 2009 Report Share Posted January 17, 2009 i pull the net tight using both rings, fold in half, half again fold the line up against the side of the net then use an elastic band. when setting the net i always put the elastic band around my wrist then when it comes to "nets up" when all the elastic bands have gone of my wrist i know that i have all the nets up. cheers tony Quote Link to post

Instead of using rubber bands, they perish in no time. Get the inner tube from a bike tyre and cut them into 1cm strips and use those.
