Guns F****d

Recommended Posts

just been out for a walk with gun, had a shot at a rabbit, got it, but when i loaded the next pellet it sort of jammed so i tryed turning the magazine round and it wouldnt... but it turned round eventually,

but now when ive like cocked it, and fired, the air is coming out of the slot wher the pellet goes, as if it cant get past so far down the barrel so its coming back up and out the slot :wallbash:

im so pissed off lol, im gona put some long metal wire down the barrel tomorrow and see if i can push the pellets out, if not what else can i do ?

knowing my luck it will cost a bloody fortune if i took it to a gun shop :cry::no:

any help would very grateful..

ahh....i love my "old fashioned" break barrel.... :tongue2: seriously,if its only one pellet jammed,a cleaning rod pushed carefully down the muzzel(gun obviously uncocked and unloaded!) should push it out. happened to my falcon a few times.

this happened to my mates s200, cock the bolt back and push the pellet out the barrel carefully from the muzzle (watch you dont damage the crown) then where you load the pellet there should be a little o-ring around the bolt probe but if the air is coming out the breach like you said then there will be no o-ring there, but they are easy replaced for pennies hope that is helpful i will post pics if you dont know what i mean just ask.

Hello mate, :hmm:

What ever you do dont be sticking wire done the barrel, if you haven't got a cleaning rod use a piece of wood doweling, you can get this from B&Q or some offer DIY store, once you have cleared the blockage check the O rings and the probe to, hope this helps mate, and dont get to pissed off its happened to a hell of a lot of people, all the best,

Rob.

Pellet jammed as already said, be very careful and wood dowel or similar is a good idea. It could be worse, I'll you a story that will make ya feel better for deffo.

Logun S16S :icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek: , now the shock thing is folks general opinion of this particular rifle  and for a while when I owned one I soon found out, mine took pellet jam to a whole new level  , every feckin day I'd line a shot up and clunk :wallbash: :wallbash: now at this time I also had a MK1 Rapid, owned it from new and had never had a problem, so this "sweet 16" was really starting to piss me off so like yourself I sought advice from folk who had knowledge of them.

What a kick in the balls that turned out to be as I was being told that there was nowt wrong with the gun and that it was me who was at fault..............."what the feck" :icon_eek: , trouble was they were right. :icon_redface: :icon_redface:

the "sweet 16" was so different to the easy actions on previous rifles I'd owned, on this I had to be brutal for want of a better word and be certain the pellet was loaded correctly  anyway a while later I was offered a deal I couldn't turn down and to this day I miss that rifle that I'd cussed and cussed.

So don't fret, the guys on here will sort you out and one day when the money tree has blossomed, feck the Rapids, get an Air Wolf or Ranger and cock it with ya little finger.

It comes to those who wait :)
