LAMPING AT LAST

Recommended Posts

after months of doing next to no lamping, the weather finaly came right for us boys to a have a spin out last night. with a good wind and steady drizel realy pushed the rabbits far from home.

we set of together , but that didn't last long as ginny was not happy about the other dogs being around , as it afects her retrive .

so we split up , andy and his bag man :D going over the other side, and me staying on the easy side with the most rabbits ;)

Tara was on good form missed next to nothing, although her retrive is getting shoking, shes ok when its a good distance , but in close and she seems to get harder mouthed :(

also had visa out for a spin last night, she is so laid back and easy to handle . at one point near the end i was on a hump lamping down hil just sending Tara back and forward , whilst old Visa just sat there watching with out ant restraint.

she also worked fine , missing more than tara , but she makes the ones she does catch look efortless.

any way i ended up with an even 40 aprox 25 for tara.

the total for the night was 64 or 66 cant remember

surley there ground up your way with game meer , and yuoll get the odd bunny on the plough with the indestructable saluks lol , surely there game up your way for them

I've no issues with running plough and do it frequently, rabbits are for the most part very easy on it. I've still been getting out with the lamp but just handfuls here and there no proper nights out, I've been doing other things. :victory:

Regards
