Guest oldskool
Frank Warren must be suffering from delayed lead poisoning from the bullet that was allegedly fired from one of his former boxers. A genuine fight where his man is not in opposition to a no -hoper doorman or washed up pub fighter! Never heard of such a thing! However I don't share the view that Khan is a no hoper. I think he will do ok in the first half of the fight . Then we will find out exactly how good he is. If Khan wins it would be a terrific result , but boy oh boy he's taking a risk. I can't understand the hatred Khan generates. Naz yes, a bigger shit would be hard to find-a religious bigot and a low life bum who disrespected many of his opponents and left a guy half dead and permanently disabled after a car accident. Khan is just a bit cocky. All young men are full of wind and piss. Give him a break. i cant understand the hatred for him either??? i think its something to do with his shot to fame after the olympics?? his first pro scrap was like a world title fight (a bit like audley harrison who made a fortune on his pro debut) things like that make folk jealous when there is good old pro's out there only gettin a few hundred quid for a 6 rounder... at the end of the day i'd like to see that wee battling mexican win... he's scared of no one

bill88 6
I think this fight has been made to attract some attention (money) after Khans loss to Presscot and the subsequent bore fest with Fagan.Lets not get confused here,Berrera is a shell of the once great fighter named the "baby faced assasin" and well past his best.Berrera started fighting at Flyweight so he's fighting a very big Lightweight in Khan,he has also been in a few wars over the last 5 years and is looking old and ringworn.I dont like Khan but considering his size advantage and youth he may well beat the smaller/older Berrera.Berrera was knocked senseless by Junior Jones who himself was another freakishly tall, hard punching, glass jawed fighter much like Khan is.Maybe Khan will beat Berrera, maybe he might win by KO and this will fool some of the fight fans, but it wont fool me.I still think Khans chin is too suspect to stand up at world class, and i also believe Khan will struggle to keep making the weight as his body matures and this can only add to his problems as he'll be getting hit harder and may not carry his power and speed once he moves up in weight. Guest Mass_G3nocide
Khan aint got the stamina or the punch and with his guard hanging constantly low i cant see khan making it to the second round he will hit the canvass like a tonne weight and as for barrera a good fighter made of pure solid training whos had more experience and can pack a punch it will be a good fight. Think khan may get lucky, and his size and strength may upset things. But he's still fooling nobody, only using a name to try to raise his comeback, Barrera at his peak would have took Khan apart within a couple of rounds at worst. If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best at there best. Step up Khan if you can.

gnasher16 30,279
For me this is another good example of whats wrong with boxing today particularly in britain......young talented fighters are exposed to the public far too early in their career....and with this exposure comes massive pressure on what are young inexperienced fighters learning their trade...... Who had ever heard of barry mcguigan, henry cooper or hundreds of other good fighters after 2 or 3 pro fighters....khan has put himself under massive pressure by turning pro in the public spotlight way too early......id like to see lads stay amateur a lot longer and be properly prepared for the pro game so that they can cope with the pressure and have the needed experience in their early career........... This fight with barrerra is for khan a career saving fight.....at 21/22 years old whatever he is !!.... In my opinion stylistically khan has a good chance but if he thinks it will throw him back into the big time limelight then that only go,s to show the lack of faith he has in himself and his management have in him...lets face it if he loses badly his career will be all but over..........so this is a make or break fight and he hasnt even learned what the game is all about yet !.................young fighters are in too much of a rush these days.......if a kids good enough the money will be there....
