danny boi 0
i dunno realy mate she did a dispearin act [bANNED TEXT] she came bak ther was blood every wer a fence was the only thing around we could think of that could have done it, took her the vets [bANNED TEXT] the vet said she needed to clean it up quite alot with her being rough coated but she thort she would more than likely have to take the top couple inches off it i am woundering would this effect her running in anyway?? thanks dan Quote Link to post
Squirrel_Basher 17,100
The running will be ok mate ,its the healing of the op that might cause problems as you cant stop the tail from being wagged against hard surfaces.Pad the end of the tail well or it will be an ongoing problem that will never heal. good luck .foxdropper. socks 32,253
cut a piece of hose pipe and slip it over the tail and tape it at the bottom ... plenty of air will get in through the top and it will protect it through the healing process ........ Quote Link to post

sandymere 8,263
cut a piece of hose pipe and slip it over the tail and tape it at the bottom ... plenty of air will get in through the top and it will protect it through the healing process ........ thats sound advice, the vet should have dressed the wound but it will take a fair time to heal and will need redressing before its done. keep it well dressed if its in the house as they flick blood everywere from a bleeding tail and it will make the chat with your mum that much harder. good luck.
