trentotter 158
Just how well they work, battery life and any other info u got. cheers batteries last about an hour (with rechargables)but you can buy spare batteries on ebay for about £2.50 a pair.there was a problem with the bulbs blowing but i think it was just a bad batch coz the replacment i got has been ok.the original blew after a couple of outings and when i went back to the shop they said mine was the forth to go back but i got a free replacment.the beam in ideal conditions go ,s for about ish yards but on a 12ft lb gun you dont really shoot above 50 yards anyway.i tried it on a bruno 511 rimfire and it was a bit under powered.if you are thinking of buying one id pay the bit extra and get the rechargable verson coz you get a home and a car charger so you can always have a set of batteries ready to put in.dont bother with the red filter coz they are totally crap better of making your own. i hope this helps cheers...... A red filter for a AA cell maglite works a treat, about £2.50 I think from maglite.com, trim with a file to fit and jobs a good en! Its good for rats in a barn, but to be honest I didnt get on with it for lamping rabbits, ended up buying the tracer atom tactical instead, way more cash but cant fault it!! Quote Link to post
