Bushwacker 13
This being my first I thought it was good... but your right about the chaps with the logs... was a little stumped as to what they were doing to be fair... The rings were small, but there were some stunning dogs there though... terriers esp. not that I am biased I was there Sunday, those guys with the logs were cooking a badger (allegedly), had no reason to doubt them as there was a badger pelt on the log pile. Don't think they were part of the BASC game cookery demo. Lots of good looking dogs on show, nice day out.

flying ferreter 0
Super day... downside was came away wanting a terrier even more.. sadly cannot have one :wallbash: i thought it was a bit of a let down tbh the main focus was meant to be on ferreting but there were a few ferretowners who werent really engaging people but talking amongst themselves. the trade stands were good though Ellir0305 nice to here you went dude, applogies from me if you wanted a chat, it was my first time showing my jills and as there is no security or creche facility so I unfortunately would not them out of my sight understandably, and them being heavy in the basket I wouldn't want' to carry too much. I found most visitors would browse the ferrets with interest and their partners would mutter something about getting bitten!! Most of them I felt did not want to stay and talk much as I think they thought they weren't proper hardcore rabbit killin ferrets and just pretty fuzzy wuzzy pets. I let you know this is my first season ever with ferrets and I bloody love the sport, and they love nothing better than blowing out rabbit holes with ever increasing enthusiasm. I get a lot of satisfaction and pleasure from 'bringing them on' and they are so rewarding with their own individual characters. I decided to take them as this is the first time they were organising a comp for the Fert's and I normally go to shoot the clay comp, but as times are a bit tighter now with the cost of entry to the show and the clay comp, I decided to take the little jills for a grand day out instead. Glad I did as I won 3 trophies for best jill poly, best jill of show, best working ferret and supreme show champ. I was on cloud nine! If you wan't a chat about any fieldsport from someone locallish them PM if you want. Also thanks for the support and friendlyness from the other participents during the day, hope you all got back from the show safely.
