Mr Adventure 0
Any subsonic stuff "but dont want to put one through the barn" . A subsonic round would go through a 1" or more of wood no problem. Alway think safety before you take the shot I'm nor sure what you want to know???? Quote Link to post

Great loads for short distance shooting with hardly any noise at all with a silencer. Hope this is of help. Quote Link to post
Mr Adventure 0
22LR subsonic is use with a suppressor mainly. You do get 22 short but I think that its for pistol only. As for bullet weight and powder weight you dont have the same choice with 22lr as with other calibers and you cant home load them. I use Winchester Subs 40grain bullet, they work well in my Brno up to about 90m mark. Sorry mate if I offended Quote Link to post
Finkley 1
What are you shooting at mate? Isn't there a 22lr 'rat' or 'bird' shot. Same brass but a plastic bubble on the front containing shot? I don't know for sure if they're available in the UK, but I have defo seen a photo of them on Wikipedia. Probably not very good for rabbits though. Also, presumably it can't be too good for the rifling, but again, I don't know. Cheers, Steve Quote Link to post
provarmint 25
As M the M says CCI CB Long, 710 ft per sec 32 ft/Ilb 29 gr bullet Could still go through the barn though. Quote Link to post
