ASME IX 1 Posted January 13, 2009 Report Share Posted January 13, 2009 heres my old dog in his prime beardie/greyhound x beddie/greyhound stood 24".the old dog is still goin at 15yrs old deaf and naerly blind with breath that smells like a sewer.to this day i havnt reared a dog to equal him . asme9 do you still own him asme,looks a good-un pal yea still have him mate .dont think he got much longer left to be honist. did you ever breed off him pal?looks a topper yea i bred two litters from him.one first litter was to a racey beddie greyhound (i think there was a bit of whippet in there my self but owner said not) and the second litter to a collie/greyhound x deerhound/greyhound.i kept a big dog pup from the first litter.he did every thing i asked of him but just didnt have that little extra his sire had. Guest night time my time Posted January 14, 2009 Report Share Posted January 14, 2009 dont some of the best ones go early, i had 3/4 collie dog yers ago, spent time traning him to ft standard,not the best catch dog iv ever had but a treat to work,never a raised voice, conpleate alrounder,found dead one night i got back under me wagon,7 year old,still wouldnt like to say which has been me best dog, got a 12 yo half x going to take some replaceing, her daughters got her good points,had meny good dogs,they were all the best at something, Quote Link to post
Terrier man 38 Posted January 14, 2009 Report Share Posted January 14, 2009 dont some of the best ones go early, i had 3/4 collie dog yers ago, spent time traning him to ft standard,not the best catch dog iv ever had but a treat to work,never a raised voice, conpleate alrounder,found dead one night i got back under me wagon,7 year old,still wouldnt like to say which has been me best dog, got a 12 yo half x going to take some replaceing, her daughters got her good points,had meny good dogs,they were all the best at something, mine has two be my 11 year old 3/4 grey 1/4 coille he just hanged his boot up a few weeks ago as i had him out and you can see the old legs going so i just use him for digging i have a pup off him how has the makeing off a good dog so mines is the old bhoy gipper Hes a good looking dog keano... dont see many like that now.. big grey face up on him and still doing the job...
