rabbit muncher 0 Posted January 13, 2009 Report Share Posted January 13, 2009 got saluki lurcher had him from pup trained him all the basics he was fetchin to hand from ealy age he has worked with my terriers from start bolting all types of quarrey but terriers always try and take quarry of him he does not fetch back to hand any more anyone have same problem Quote Link to post
bird 9,982 Posted January 13, 2009 Report Share Posted January 13, 2009 This is one of the drawback's working terriers+ lurchers together , it can be great fun But it can and does feck your retrieve up with your lurcher. I know some lads will say, there terriers are well trained and dont pinch the catch from the there lurchers, maybe but most Do. Quote Link to post

macker 5 Posted January 13, 2009 Report Share Posted January 13, 2009 can be hard keeping a lurcher retrieving if you like bushing too. i love bushing always will do. i find lurchers will still retrieve on lamp but not in day with terriers about. need my lurchers to watch terriers for fox. and great crack watching lurchers and terriers bushing. even just for a laugh. macker Quote Link to post
