wigan 0
ive been driving 27yrs and 16yrs of them driving HGV trucks all over europe been done twice for speeding 1st one for doing 56mph in a truck on the A75 in scotland at 04.45 in the morning ( 40mph for trucks 70mph for cars) got 5 points £90 fine 2nd one for doing 52mph in a van at 23.55 at night on a dual carrigeway that turned out to be a 30mph stretch 200yrds from a motorway entrance 6 points £125 fine both of these were with radar guns no excuse i was speeding but i think a lot of it is just to fill the police coffers with easy target motorists cash

kevegg 0
yeah thanks for that mate. you ever speed? i think so!!!!! no need for the prick is there! whats on your number? plate PEN 1s ??? barry sheen owns that i think but your right he who is without sin is full of shit It's actually Steve 'Stavros' Parrish who owns it, though you can be forgiven as he was Barry Sheenes team mate in the 70's and close friend until Sheenes untimely death. Myself done 3 times: once doing 60 in a 30 zone on a Yamaha RD 250E in 1979, once doing 90 on a dual carriageway in a Ford Fiesta in 1990 and once on motorway on a Yamaha FZ750 doing (according to the nice policeman) between 85 and 95 in 1995. Used to get pulled all the time when I was 16/17 on moped and 1st motorbike. Looking back probably deserved it. Loved my first Land Rover (1966 Series 2A) as I couldn't have speeded in that if I'd wanted to. Kev.
craftycarper 0
got a 12 month ban in my first year of driving 22 yrs ago for drinking, was a right twat, never again. I would be lost if it were now, so dependent on the old motor.

mad al 146
I was pulled last year, first breath test ever in 37 years of driving. He'd pulled me for driving on side lights (blown headlamp), no problem, never booked for the lamp, hadn't been drinking for days so all was fine. I don't think I'd be bothered if I lost my license as I very rarely drive these days, be more of an inconvenience than anything, but I'd just get everything delivered which is pretty much what I do now. I think the mayhem on the roads these days and peoples personalities changing when they get behind the wheel is enough to put ya off for life. Mind you, come March I'm only ten years away from a bus pass, between that and my Mental Health number, very near to a "Full House" Feckin hell it's nine years!!!!!!!!! dangergirl 13
I got done for doing 34 in a 30, tight b**tards. I also got stopped on sat night at 2am (because i had no lights on), in my partners navara 4x4 that had cocks drawn onto the dirt on the truck, 3 lads in the back when there is only 2 small seats, me in wearing next to nothing and 4inch heels. They asked me if it was my car, i said no. They asked me if i had been drinking is said no. They did not breathalyze me , on a sat night at closing time!! They asked me if i had a lincense, i said i do, but not with me(i was not even given a producer) Cant understand awhy did they not prob further into the no license, no breath test, not my car, over occupied anway.........i know, because it started hammering it down, the just sent me on my way!! artic 595
My nearest shop/garage 10mile round trip, no buses here i know of. Although we do get a mobile butcher, librarian and bakers van once a week so i would'nt starve Only ever got pulled once, in my more youthfull prettier days. One of my lights was out. I got out, showed him how if you thumped the light it came back on....he blushed i blushed and i went on my way
