I have read a lot of the replies to this.IMHO There is no excuse for drink drivers or those who break speed limits.

When i was younger me and a mate were crossing the road,he didnt make it and is no longer here to tell us his feelings about the guy who was doing 68mph whilst pissed.

I think of my mate everyday, the driver is alive and physically well, my mate is dead thanks to him wanting to save a few quid by not getting a taxi.

Well first time ever the police have pulled me in 22 year Of driving. :whistling: One minute I was having a yap in chat, went to make a coffee no milk  . So jumped in car. Hurrying back as the other half on nights and just looked in my mirror blue flashing lights. Bugger my legs went to jelly B) didn’t have a clue what speed I was doing so had a proper panic. A very nice young police man :icon_redface: asked if I had been drinking .As many of you know its not very often I do have a drink so I knew that was ok. It was the speed I was worried about. Typical man wouldn’t take my word for it so out came the Breathalyzer. Any way to cut a long story short all was well but it could have been so different and on the way home couldn’t help but think how I would cope if I lost my license. So just to see how would it effect you if you lost yours :victory:

Drink i have seen you down the ciders and the wine when you were up at mine :whistling: . I have never been stopped in me life i need to be able to drive or thatsme out out of work, i get kev to do the driving when i have had a few

i couldnt live without a car i live in the middle of nowhere nearest shop 50 min walk school 60 min work 35 miles i do 50000 miles a year i would be stuffed

my son just been done becouse his insurance had 2 didgets the wrong way round 96 instead of 69 all other information on car was same so didnt relize had car over ayear and never picked up on it the copper did him for no insurance but luckaly the court understood that he thought he was insurared and just gave him a £45 fine no points . but the copper cud of let him of told him to sort it and saved the tax payer money

Similar thing happened to me in 2007, but the case was dropped before it went to court :whistling: However after that happened I found myself being stopped for a "chat" far more often than before

i got caught doing 130 but the copper was sound and wrote me in for 95. that opened my eyes. stay below 85 now. i wouldnt be able to get home to see my little boy, that would break me!!!!!!

If you are worried about getting home to see your little boy DON'T go over 70 prick.

There's a lot more people that want to see family again :wallbash:

yeah thanks for that mate. you ever speed? i think so!!!!! no need for the prick is there! whats on your number? plate PEN 1s ???

Yea I got 3 on my licence for doing 35 in a 30 I'm a prick but not a grade A class 1 prick.

In general terms the speed limits are out dated for modern cars. The speed limits go back many years to account for the AC Cobra car. I am a professional driver with no points on my license as I try hard to keep to the Speed limits however like every single person who drive except those driver that drive so slow that they cause accidents, I sometimes look at my speed and think that I better slow down, especially in a 2.5 litre car that is made to do great speeds. All said and done a man should not be insulted for admitting something. Make your point without insults as you do not know really the man's charactor.
