Your one ferret will be fine on its own mate.IN fact some ferrets will not tolerate another near them,in cold weather make sure it has plenty of bedding to keep it worm.

Now you will see a load of old bo****ks about them being sociable animals. :victory:

The One is right, up to a point.

 

Most ferrets seem to like company, but just like humans, you get the occasional antisocial one.

 

The reason for the difference between ferrets and their wild ancestors is that domestication tends to lead to the animal retaining some juvenile behavioural characteristics, in this case sociability.
