Using a ball is better than a dummy or dead rabbit because they just stay where they land, the ball will bounce and roll Dont over do it though as the pup is young and will get bored or worn out Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Penda 3,341 Posted January 12, 2009 Report Share Posted January 12, 2009 What i do mate is take the dog out with an older dog let them see the older dog on the beam catching rabbit then after a couple of nights of that i walk the pup up to a thew squaters so that she sees them the end of the beam and they understand whats on the end of the beam i dont realy do this til the pups 10 months old when there pups i do walk them of a night with a lamp to get them youst to being out of a night with the lamp on dont run them on the lamp obviously but every1 does this different ways.
