paddybarr 77 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Share Posted February 18, 2009 want a good working whippet then sooty sam lines are what you want, the majority of lurcher folk think whippets are shivering Ba****ds but the whippet workers know these are the ultimate rabbiting Dog,Sooty Same took all legal quarry in his time, 1000's of rabbits, hares, foxes Roe every thing these dogs have stamina, and drive they have a good nose and are bever wrong, the man wanted photos, heres a few of mine not the best as its my first ever season but you will see wat we mean. they can take some rough tumble and still catch squirrel they dont mind the cold eigther day time hare shot and retieved nice bag there good with live stock another couple of day time sitters another nice haul with the kc whippets more by kc whippets a bit of lure coursing whippet vs lurcher his first ever trip out marking up a couple of rats here so for shity KC registered dog that can work and a bred to a standard for showing dont suppose there that bad, but what do i know. you will find it hard to match a good working bred whippet, look for Sooty sam lines and travell for the dog it'll be the best dog you ever own. common whippet workers show some of you pics, preferably some more experienced workers.
