Chris and TSA make good points.

You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to work out who's taking the piss out of the law on here.

The least people could do is make them work for the info, but no. Let's just make it obvious.

'f**k the Ban', the equivalent of the onboard video camera at 140 on the motorway.....

'f**k the Ban', the equivalent of the onboard video camera at 140 on the motorway.....

Spot on!

We all hate the ban, and it efects us all directly or indirecly; as do the other recent laws brought in which seem to us to opress the way of life we have. Be that the new proposed dogs act, duty on fuel, post office closures (likewise village schools), changes in public transports, game laws etc etc. It all feels like its set againsat us; but the attitude of f##k it, does not wash because those who see us as outdated, cruel, stupid (whatever) are able to take our words and use them against us.

Its wrong, its sad, but we have to wind our necks in and play the game.

Country folk are amongst the most honest law abiding and clean living yet we feel perseccuted (its a strong wrod!), lets not show our detractors we are not.

"Anti" has become a tearm we use for anyone we does not support our way of life. Be they the police, RSPCA/RSPB, blood sport campeigners, people who support the docking ban and more; we need to how and educate these people that what we do has a place and a purpose, and the f##k 'em attitude will only serve to make it worse.

i have converted at least 6 "anti's" at school simply by sitting down and talking to them and educating them about what actually goes on in the countryside and the importance of pest control and fox hunting and proving to them that all forms of "hunting" are not simply about rich tossers killing things for the fun of it. To be honest the biggest threat to shooting as with fox hunting is ignorance of what actually goes on.

all this country needs is for everyone to get along and to listen to each other and try to understand why we hunt or shoot.

now i think thats my bit said.

fight the ban. keep shooting.

me and a couple of shooting mates might actually organize a meeting sometime to discuss fox hunting, shooting, ferreting and any kind of field sport that comes up in conversation. can you believe i nearly got suspended for accidentally taking a tiny swiss army knife in in my jacket pocket.(as soon as i realised it was there i took it straight to my headmaster and handed it in.) got it back when my dad wrote in asking for it back lol)

the amount of so called antis who are active are very few , the amount of anti bloodsports in the population who knows the truth what i do know is hunting shooting and and fishing is now more popular than ever the pro field sports organizations funds are in good health , while the lacs are in shambles there membership in decline as are all the sabs do not confuse antis with sabs , beware people in the uniform of a once well meaning organization more than your misinformed anti , with out doubt this site is monitored by the sabs so what ,there getting old now or bored the old faces are still there, no new blood , while all i see is young lads and lasses following hounds , terriers , shooting , fishing , :clapper:;)

??????

The ban might not be directly about shooting, but we all are afected and under the spot light; if this kid (who clearly loves his shooting) wants to "fight the ban; and keep shooting" then all praise to him for sticking to his guns (pardon the pun).

The young kids in our sports need our support and encouragement not negativity or sarcasm.
