CJT 0
WOW.. ..i wish my gos would open it's wing's and beak like that when on a kill as it look's realy impressive.?.....If your question is serious , and i hope it is , hares especially up on the high ground are very testing , hence the hawks gape ? if youve aint caught them before once you do , you will be faced with the same...as they take some subduing...thanks for the interest Edited January 12, 2009 by CJT Quote Link to post

jasper65 6
If your question is serious , and i hope it is , hares especially up on the high ground are very testing , hence the hawks gape ? if youve aint caught them before once you do , you will be faced with the same...as they take some subduing...thanks for the interest Strange one that as all quarry react differently when caught! I've seen some hares roll over with a white flag and others put up a decent fight, obviousely its down to the individual birds technique too? I've seen in the past a German Female stop a Hare clean in its tracks without hardley exerting itself and yet seen a large finnish bird make a meal of it.... Its not rocket science to take Hares but more on weather the bird want them and are conditioned to take them and not just fly them, Basically flying them with a decent slip with a conditioned Gos is a rat hunt without the bird coming out of 1st gear in its powers of flight............ Why did you not state that in the first place instead of trying to bluff it.. ..and the hare on this thread is the same as the other one you have duplicated on the other thread.. You mention poult's..at least i am honest and show what the bird has been catching..how many baggies and even younger poult's will that imprint of caught.. .. Also look at the date's of my picture's with the pheasant.. ..you will see it's a bit late for poult's in some of them..and not once has he had a baggie..i woul say that.. .. Now i suspect you have come on here to try and be clever and i have a rough idea who you are..and if it is who i think it is you have been removed once for being a wind up and not worth listening to and im sure it can be organised again.. Millet Mallet , im sorry if you feel someone has stole your thunder , please ,you dont have to look at my threads , just avoid them.......ive never had a imprint in my life , nor will i ever.....secondly , i never said any lies only that i was putting up a few pictures ! and where did you bring " baggies " up from ??? well they are obviously on your mind !! certainly not mine............my concern as a life time falconer and hunter is you have pics up in septemeber of a goss on a live poult ? the season dont sart to october.....Just hope the pc brigade dont grasp as they are desperate to get it stopped...ps will you be attending the falconers fair bud........
