arveyboy 0
i went to my local butchers the other day to interest him in buying my rabbits. he offered me £1 per rabbit skinned and gutted. what im doing with the ones im shooting is freezing them in a sealable bag and then im going to send them to him everytime i collect 20 or so. putting everything into account, 25p a pop currently for ammo, plus 2 or 3p per bag and petrol costs. probably looking at 60p a rabbit for all my time. and thats under the assumption i dont miss any ;) what does your butcher offer you per rabbit? cheers, jack Quote Link to post
Tyla 3,179
1.50 skinned and gutted but recently he's been swamped with them. i assume its blokes looking for a bit of extra cash, its a bit of a pain as last time he didnt have space to take mine so they got given to the local BOP centre im surprised your guy is taking them if your shooting them with the shotty, my bloke will only take netted, snared or head shot. Hammergun12 0
My butcher pay £1 each in the fur paunched, he wants them rifle shot not shotgun. I dont shoot for money but it pays for my .17 ammo. He also does very nice pies So some times i do a trade instead of the money. Quote Link to post
