How many members on here do this stuff? Seems an absolute load of bollox to me and maybe these places are frequented by folk who can't quite hack it, just my opinion and I'm probably wrong

nice one, now I can see the appeal to the younger generation, so maybe I should ask what the older generation get out of it

used to play in a proper team about 15yrs ago, was fairly inexpensive back then, a box of 5000 painballs only cost around £50, which was the amount each of us used in one day, soon as it became popular, prices went up, so gave it all in

I used to run a site near hawkhurst in kent and I also played tournament paintball which is a lot different to running round in a woods.

15 balls per sec at 300 fps is great fun, used to go through 6000-8000 balls a day.

Best part of marshalling a load of punters was a game we like to call death row or the stag run.

we did it for my leaving do with my army mates. big fooking mistake! i had to run the gauntlet in just my boxers. 35 guys with 200 rounds each at 25 yard range. it leaves a bruse with clothes on, without it tears the skin! felt like somone shooting me with ball bearings from a black widow cataplult. i had over 400 hits all over me. never again. EVER!!!!!!!my mates got it video'd on his phone, i'll try and get in contact with him again and get it on here.

I went the summer before last for the first (and only) time, as part of a stag do; 20odd of us, all either ex or serving army a couple of whom are working in PSD roles abroad.

It was fun. But, I think the fun was due to the arogance of the instructors/marshalls who in a few games battled against us and took great pride in telling us how "expert" they were, how much more powerfull their "weapons" were than ours etc.

We just went through the play book of Section Battle Drills etc and they never stood a chance - no matter how powerfull their Gucci weapons were!

Stood there in their flash MotoX type kit with Gucci guns and us in dodgy fitting dirty overals and inferior firepower, kicking their asses made the weekend!
