Stinkers in the house?

donk

I have kept them in the house a few times, as long as you keep them clean that eliminates any smell, i kept an entire hob in the house a couple of yrs ago & he smelt no more than a dog

See im in a predicament here :icon_redface:

I want more ferrets cos i think its the only way im going to get my permission back or get new permission, but. Im not keen keeping them indoors cos of the smell

Also im single but looking,if you know what i mean?

So when ive had lasses back in the past its not been too bad, though the flat does smell of dogs, but if i get stinkers and put them indoors the place is probably gonna honk even more?

I think im going to have to save up a bit more and move somewhere where i have a bit garden or back yard?

I'll occasionally let them in to have a scamper about.I have to put the cockatiels cage out of reach, chase the cat out, close the upstairs doors, then wait for the havoc to start :clapper: The 5 of them love it but i would'nt want to keep that amount in the house 24/7

When i kept a hob in the house even my mother who cant bare the smell commented that it was none existent, just change bedding regular & clean out the poo corner & it will be fine

although I have 13 at end of garden, our daughter has two pet ones in the front room, have the occassional bad smell, but as long as cleaned regularly, no worries, so I'd say, get more, and if you bring a bird home and she dont like the smell, then she aint the right bird for you

Got 5 in the house , but:

1) I'm not houseproud

2) They live in the back room with the door closed unless they're out.

3) They're all neutered, and don't smell any worse than I do.... :icon_redface:

You have to nail anything ferret-portable down though. I'm on my second phone cos the little buggers have nicked the Nokia, and third headlamp.

Keep keys out of reach too.....

And remotes,

And wallets,

etc

etc

And it's only natural my ferrets dont smell i clean them out everyday and hold each of them and fuss them a bit and i have 5.
