Guest reload
Heres a pic of my Ibizan/Greyhound cross. Haven't had her that long still trying to train her up she was a rescue. She not as quick as my other youngster which is a grey/whippet/collie x Been trying to train them both up on the lamp but its going slow, espacially as I have a lack of rabbit round here. They are both very keen on charlie as you can see in the last pic!!!! :D nice looking dog mate does he yap behind quarry i have just spoken to a man who run 2 ibizan hounds back in 1982 and he said they were really nice dogs but opened up behind quarry. Yes she does yap behind quarry, it must be in their breeding, its quite funny sometimes. so thats a downfall for the breed in my opinion but i would still like to see one work just to compare it with other breeds Regards Micky There one of the nosiest sight hounds I have ever known........ Meerihunter 7
Another not on your list Shanxi Xigou/Chinese Saluki How do these differ from the arabic salukis Meerihunter? There seems to be a hell of a size difference between the dogs and bitches...is this for a specific reason? Just another regional type of Saluki, apperantly they have always been in china for thousands of years. Some are what they call 'sheep head' xigou because the head shape. As for the size I'm not sure why there is such a difference or why some of the males are that big at all as they are purely hare dogs from what I am told. Quote Link to post
