Lurcherlovr 0
You would laugh, there was someone who wanted a pharoah hound as a pet and asked whether I would be breeding my Pharaoh hound, I was like no he is a lurcher, GSD Grey, no pharoah hound there, I think that it was someone who wants a exotic breed but don't know anything about them I mean have you ever seen a brindle pharoah hound lol. I think they were just looking at his ears lol, but I would love to see a working pharoah hound, or a lurcher of one, that would be one good looking dog if someone wants to get one Edited January 11, 2009 by Lurcherlovr Quote Link to post

DevoidOvTalent 0
I have Azawakh. Two of mine have a parent each directly from Africa, and a friend of mine has a number of African dogs. They are used mostly for guarding now in the Sahel, not much hunting. The breeder of my dogs takes his out and about and they will hunt, not sure how successful they are. Azawakh tend towards a hard, independent temperament. They are not obedient or eager to please. Quote Link to post

Brimmer 220
Cracking thread Micky lad, makes me wonder if any of the dogs we run over here could handle life that those dogs do. Some of them will be running in really hot conditions during the day, and some will be coming up against some fearsome quarry at one time or another. Quote Link to post
