If I had the time and the money and a slim chance, I would go balls out for gamekeeper, closest to what you like to do, and you have some farming background which may help you along. :thumbs:

 

always wanted to go into game keeping when i left school but there wasnt much going around essex at the time so i went for farming as a second choice!

think im a bit to old to get into it now!

 

its never to late mate luckily i am young and hav my future ahead of me but my uncle was working for nissan about 4years ago now and after leaving he decieded to start beating and picking up full time on a big estate called whitfield. he then worked rearing fields during the summer and now after 4 years grafting he is now startin a underkeeper job on the whitfield estate. he is in his 40's jst shows it never to late

thier are hundreds of carp fisheries in france an england loking for some form of managment good outdoor life with some good hunting/pest control thrown in..

Had a cousin worked for a fisherie in France,loads of potential to make money,and a lot of hunting oppertunities(coypu,rats,cormerants)really does help if you can talk the lingo though.

There crying out for olde time craftsmen,what about training in hedge laying,dry stone walling etc...just an idea,would love to do it myself but all the usual ties(mortgage,kids)stops me from doing it :angry:

 

im kinda thinking along those lines! :thumbs:

going to write my notice out in a minute! talk about scary!
