Guest Magwitch
Me and Tony have been ferreting and shooting rabbits for this particular farmer for the best part of three years now doing mainly his orchard's, well the other week he gave us some new ground and today was our first day on it. Had a early start this morning to meet the farmer so that he could point us in the right direction and that we could get our bearings, it was foggy and very cold to start with but as the day wore on it brightened up and as the fog lifted we could see the new farm in all its glory. The rabbits were in good numbers and the first two small buries we ferreted produced 10 rabbits a piece. The only problem I had today was the soil, it was thick clay and very hard to dig, but fortunately we didn't have to do much at all. Had another 3 in a end stop after a 6" dig so all in all a very pleasant and productive day...........Credit where credit's due the animals worked there balls off today and did me proud. Final bag 31................ Look in the hole!!!!!!! Quote Link to post
