What they proved was, that you can't shoot through a telescope and get somone in the eye the bullet would be deflected, they even tried to do it from about 3 feet away with a high powered rifle and it defelcted every single time! :icon_eek:

How difficult do you think it would be to own and use a left handed bolt loading rifle if you were a right handed person?

If you stick with the same hands and don't try and swap then is is very awkward and takes longer..if you try and swap hands then you have to learn to shoot again...I'm struggling with this...a 300 mile trip to look at a gun with the bolt the wrong side....it must be a very special gun or VERY cheap...a none starter in my book but you obviously have your reasons..

It's an almost £1000 rilfe for £565 and its a classy Air Ranger I'm not sure if i'm trying to convince you lot or myself really!?

Each to there own and everyone will have their own view and opinion...

You are trying to convince yourself..no problem with that if you want a rifle with the bolt the wrong side after a 300 mile journey. The Air Ranger has plenty of equals in my book at 12 ft lb and if you want to take it all the way to 80ft lb in FAC then rimfire is FAR better in every respect...so you are obviously convincing yourself...but there is nothing wrong with that if it floats your boat..ATB
