Hi Steve, i'm not actually sure! I know when you start talking really cold, batteries stop working and can be a problem. I don't think you'll have a problem with a bog standard camera in minus 3 conditions. . . . . . . . best bet is to give it a try! ;)

If I go abroad skiing to Canada or USA often<-20 degrees....(If only i could afford it :cry: this year)

I normally just put the camera battery out of my SLR in my inside pocket, as close to my body as possible, i take it out for the pictures then put the battery back inside my clothing.

Nice Photos Hananh..Like the portrait myself..
