Ive skinned a fox and tried to feed it to my dogs before, complete waste of time, even the ferrets wouldnt eat it :sick: Im like you I dont like to kill things and waste them, but my dogs just wouldnt entertain it. My old dog will have a chew at one if its fresh with the skin on, and hes been ragging at it, he will start to have a munch, but hes just a strange dog he will eat anything, the rest are a bit more discerning Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Guest blackntan Posted January 8, 2009 Report Share Posted January 8, 2009 in my youth i worked on a big estate in Sussex they had a big do at the end of every season there was a couple of old boys in the village woodman , rabbit man etc one year the roasted a fox and served it up a the beaters do when the feast had finished the told the party a few run out side and :sick: :sick: a few threats were made but a lot just laffed , its a question Ive herd before , Ive seen a few hounds that on breaking up a fox pre ban all ways like to chew of Charlie but as a stable diet Quote Link to post Share on other sites
