sounder 9
well as you you all know here in ireland it was -3 to -6 last nite so this morning i head out to see if i could get a fox in holes, tryed a few place i have'nt done in years, god it was cold !!! but we worked away and after checking a good few earths we went to a handy spot we know, two holer under a wall but always dig him out in the field, just as we got to them waterford headed right to them and entered in mins he was on i left him 5 mins or so i know this dog by now he was barking well but is hard so i knew he was not up to him yet,so after 10 mins or so i pin him with the barrtvox box at 1.0 (2 foot!!!)and opened up this is a sand earth and the tubes are small in parts, as i broke in waterford stuck up his head, it was tight hole but he was digging away but it opened up just in front of him, so i pull him up and clear it out i stuck my hand and camra up the hole (and snap!!!) i could see that it was a fox pushed well up, so let him off to work it for afew mins and he took a good hold of him and pulled it out job done, another dig under in belt!!! cheers sounder afew pic!!! sounder 9
alright sounder how do you find the pulse box? im thinking of getting 1 soon and want to know how they are before i buy 1, when the box reads and finds do 1 arrow go darker than the other 3 or what? cheers GTG1no mate the box changes to pin when you get within 3 m, of it to what you see here more that 3m...........it like this ......... just by turning the box the arrow will chang to where the dog is in seconds if you turn the box around let say the dog is behinded you the arrow will point at you ,it has a 360 search mode !!! the arrow will give you the point of the dog as you get over the dog it will change to pinpoint then you put it on the ground, move it around to get the depth and the mark i go back to the knocker box and do a cross like movement tilll i get the mark, it also works by sound as in it beep and the near you are the tone changes, only seen the d3 work for afew mins it only light and beeping and distance you go by, the barryvox box is better i think have dug to this alot since i got it i say 10 to 15 dig bang on all the time ,, hope this helps you, but feel free to ask if you need to mate or just pm me , cheers sounder Quote Link to post
